Often, small groups of people are better able to interact, learn and discuss religious topics better than larger groups. For that reason, St. James Church of Christ offers each Wednesday from 12 p.m. – 1 p.m.  intercessory prayer time and a small group bible study session.
Sunday School
On Sunday mornings at Sunday School at 8:45 or 9:45 a.m. adults and children get to participate in their respective age-appropriate classes.   Bible lessons are taught in such a way that both adults and children get to participate and learn the word of God on their level.

Bible Study
Each Wednesday night at Bible Study at 7:00 p.m., adults and youth get to participate in their  respective age-appropriate classes.   Bible lessons are taught in such a way that both adults and children get to participate and learn the word of God on their level.

The purpose of Disciples Women is to provide opportunities for spiritual growth, enrichment, education and creative ministries to enable women to develop a sense of personal responsibility for the whole mission of the church of Jesus Christ and to provide a channel through which women in the congregation may be joined in fellowship and find means for effective participation in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).  The Women of Greatness CWF meet once a quarter as announced.
The purpose of Disciples Men is to minister to the unique needs of men in the church, enabling them to fulfill their potential as servants of God, strengthening the total ministry of the church.  The CMF meet every Thursday before the 4th sunday in each month.
The Mission of our Christian Youth Fellowship Group is to respond to the needs of youth for relationships, events, and opportunities where they can be themselves, discern their gifts, and be empowered to be effective leaders and servants as called by God to be the body of Christ in the world. The Christian Youth Fellowship meetings are announced.
Even though marriage is one of the most important institutions, it is the one which is under the most attack–internally and externally.   St. James Church offers couples (married and single) a special fellowship time, entitled, “Heart-to-Heart” Fellowship in which information is shared to strengthen relationships and marriages.  Couples also participate in both fun and relevant activities.  Marriage counseling is also offered by the Pastor upon request.
